But I think I'm already staring to get that excited, 'Christmas is coming!' feeling.
Thanksgiving hasn't even come yet! But it's getting close. I'm so happy for this year's Thanksgiving because my grandparents (my mom's parents) are coming to stay! I can't remember the last time they were able to come! We're supposedly going to get more snow during the holiday week...praying it doesn't cause us to have to change any plans. Whatever happens, I can rest knowing that it's part of God's marvelous plan.
There's only one thing (person) missing - my Sissy.
I just placed my order online for her gifties which I'm really excited about!
I've also completed my shopping for my younger brother and sister. I'm constantly seeing so many other things I want to get for my awesome siblings, but I really need to limit myself this year.
For myself, I'm really hoping for a couple of books, movie soundtracks, and a pair of stunning (but not too fancy) earrings I found online. Maybe a drawing pad or two. And a new pair of slipper socks.
I'm almost finished with our yearly advent calender for December. It's been a while since I made one and I forgot how much I tend to procrastinate on completing them. Blah.
The wind is really howling outside! A nice, cozy evening. I would love to be wrapping my siblings presents right now, but I should save it for after Thanksgiving. It's too early anyway.
