Life in Life

I am a character in the story of life.
The story has already been written and planned, but, as one of its many characters, I have no idea what will fill in the middle of my life.
Since birth, I was given a gift - and the choice of whether or not to receive it. I chose to receive it without knowing, at first, what it really meant to believe in it.
Now I know the Truth:

Our Creator, the King of kings, sent His only Son into the world that He created to take all of humanity's sins upon Himself and offer His own life - the perfect sacrifice. In doing so, the old covenant was torn down, and the new one was established.
Now whosoever believes in Him will not perish but have everlasting life.

(Genesis 1 and 2 / John 3:16-17 / 2 Corinthians 3:16 and 3:18)

I am taught by the Holy Spirit dwelling in me and no longer need any teaching from mere humans.
Because I have chosen Jesus, I have been rejected by men (1 Peter 2:4). I just read that verse today, but instead of feeling sad about it, I felt just the opposite: joy. I have been rejected by men, but accepted by God, my Father!
And there is not a day that goes by that I do not wish to be home with my true love, my deepest desire, my magnificent obsession.
Love came down and rescued me.
And:
I am convinced that nothing
can ever separate me from God's love.

I hope this writing has encouraged at least one of my brothers or sisters in Christ.
