Last night, Wynne, mommy, and I went for a ride in the car to Walmart. After that, we stopped at the Flynns' house, our neighbors who own the horses, on the way back home. I went out into the pasture and led Daisy, the pony, in to groom her. Mrs. Flynn came out a little later and asked me if I would like to ride Daisy for the first time! It just so happened that I had brought my riding boots and helmet with me. I was so excited! Mrs. Flynn tacked up Daisy and I mounted. She led me and Daisy out into the pasture on a lunge line and then told me to ride Daisy around her in wide circles. It took a bit of practice, but I soon got the hang of doing it again after a whole year of not riding!
After I rode for a while at a walk and a trot, Mrs. Flynn asked me if Wynne would like to ride. I knew she would love to so I gave her a turn. Wynne was thrilled! It was only her second time at riding a pony, but she was so good at doing it! Mrs. Flynn took her out on the lunge line and gave her a pony-ride. I even got to lead Daisy around at a walk and a trot with Wynne riding! It was a really great night full of blessings that God gave us! We are truly, truly blessed in every way!
