When this time of year comes around, I start to miss that beautiful farm where I used to ride. It's been a few years since I've sat on a horse's back. Not to get dramatic, but my heart aches at the thought of it. Someday I'll go back and visit Snuggles, the sweet mare in the photo above.
Can you believe summer is over again? It went by very slowly for me, but others say it went by too fast. September seems to have flown by, though, but I'm excited for October.
And then Thanksgiving will be upon us, and suddenly it will be snowing and Christmas time!
I'd better slow down! For now, I'll think of apple cider, hot tea, colorful leaves, autumn boots, comfy sweaters, and books. Lots and lots of books.
