A Drabble A Day
"A drabble is a short work of fiction of one hundred (optional) words or less. The purpose of the drabble is brevity, testing the author's ability to express interesting and meaningful ideas in a confined space."
I'm trying to sound all smart, but I just learned the word 'drabble' about a month ago. For me, I take an image prompt, spend a short moment to hand-write my first thoughts about the image, and then start writing a story for it. I guess I used to do drabbles without knowing it, but I called them short stories (though they were only half a page long). I usually do around eight hundred words per drabble. I find that they are very helpful in getting the creative juices flowing.
The purpose of this post was mainly to play around with picture editing again, and also to be able to post a drabble here and there without any confusion as to what a drabble actually is.
Have a lovely evening!
