It's Coming Soon!

God let it snow a few inches yesterday.
But I really enjoyed it! I love watching snow fall from inside my cozy room.
I'm doubly happy because I know spring is coming, and nothing can stop it.

My mom and I had this conversation in the car when we were driving through the snow last night.
She said she knows why she and I don't mind the snow so much - because we know spring is on the way. Nothing can stop it from coming!
So why worry about the storm that's happening right now? No use worrying.

Spring is coming.

The cold will fade, the snow will melt, and the flowers will bloom.

I replied to my mom saying how her words were completely Gospel related.

Jesus is coming.

Yes, it's easier to look forward to spring - we know when it's coming.
But we don't know when Jesus is coming back. It could be next year, next month, tomorrow, or in the next hour! It's very hard when you don't know when to expect something.

Mark 13:33 - "And since you don't know when that time will come, be on guard! Stay alert!"

So I will stand fast in the storms of life, having that hope, that faith, and that trust knowing that Jesus is coming soon.
