Writing and Vacation!

I recently ordered something amazing and exciting, and the package came yesterday! What is this I speak One Year Adventure Novel of course!

Okay, maybe a little too much excitement...but writing is very special to me, and now I'll learn how to create a story the right way. And the best part? It's a Christian curriculum! How often do you find something like that? So in answer to anyone's questions about what I'm going to do, I'm writing a story this September.

I'm also really excited about our family vacation coming at the end of this month. We're driving way up to the northern most corner of our state (sorry, I can't say any specifics because of internet safety). But it's one of my favorite places in the world. Of course, I'd leave it in two seconds flat if it was possible to go back to Colorado.

To make this post actually interesting, I shall post a little tidbit of the story I hope to turn into a finished book.

A land of darkness. A kingdom of light across the sea. A great sacrifice of love. A letter in possession of a fearful girl. And the journey she must make, no matter the consequences or loss she must face.

I know - the last sentence sounds so cliche. But that's all I can give away. I'm almost scared to share more, in case the story is a fail. But all I've heard are good things about this curriculum. I can do it!
