Why yes, I am a girl who blogs too often.
Seriously, I could write and type all day. If I didn't feel silly about it, I would post three times a day.
Okay...how long's it been? 24 hours yet? Time for another post.
Now don't get the wrong idea here...it's not that I have nothing better to do with my time, or that my life's extremely boring, as you might think. I just love love love to write.
But to keep me off my blog (somewhat), I was inspired to start a nature's notebook. I used to do nature's notebook for school every year, and never really thought about just doing it anytime I wanted.
All right, enough twaddling (yes, it's a word).
What's been going on in your life? How has the Lord been molding you, changing you, teaching you?
Life is never without tests and conflict. A lot of the time, things happen (or are happening) that we just can't understand or grasp. Those types of things are happening right now in my life. But what I've been learning to do is ask why. What do you want to show me through this, Jesus? What needs to change in me? Sometimes, these awful situations seem like they have nothing to do with me. Sure, I'm being affected deeply by it, but it doesn't have anything to do with me personally...does it?
The answer is yes, it does. Nothing is ever accidental. God's plan is solid. He puts certain things in our lives at certain times to teach us. Always. Nothing is ever pointless, or useless, or without outcome, when it is from our God.
My faith and trust is constantly tested. But Jesus will see me through. He chose me. He promises never to leave me nor forsake me.
Everything will be all right. No matter what's happening right now, no matter how horrible or sad it is, it will be all right. Just keep your eyes on the things of heaven.
Can you imagine...a world without conflict? Where everything is beautiful, and there is no hurt or difficulties? It's the everlasting realm of heaven, where three things remain forever: faith, hope and love.
We're so close.
So many around me have been saying, "The Lord is coming soon." Very soon. I feel it, too. And when I say soon, I don't mean in a few hundred years. I mean sooner than that.
Can you feel it?
Are you ready?
I wouldn't mind if you posted more than once a day! ;) It's just as much fun reading as it is writing! =D
