Nearing The End

The leaves have lost their color and are nearly all fallen.

The sky is overcast and the air is balmy. A light rain fell this morning and may continue throughout the day.

My little sister just went sprawling off my bed and gave me a good laugh. Now she's acting as a baby dragon and sniffing my laptop. She acts so much like an animal sometimes - it's kinda scary!

I started on a Christmas advent calender a few days ago! I'll be posting pictures on my drawing blog.

I'm so thankful for that feeling of excitement when we look forward to something special. In this case, Thanksgiving and Christmas. This year has really flown by it seems...but then I look back at all that has happened and it's really been much longer than it feels.

Why don't we ever get that same excited happiness by looking forward to the Son's return? Is it because we can't possibly know the day the Father has planned for His coming?
