Three days until Christmas.
Our beautiful tree glows colorfully in the living room, its lowest boughs hanging over a dozen wrapped gifts placed there by me and my siblings for each other. One of our yearly "traditions" is to open a single gift per person on Christmas Eve.
I would really love a white Christmas this year; hoping and praying this will happen.
Working on Christmas Eve should be fun...at least I'll be too excited to worry about it. There were most likely be crowds of people later in the afternoon, picking up some last-minute items after getting out of work. I'm already excited to be home that night, watching a movie with my family and eating some leftover goodies from our party on Sunday.
By the way, I just got my hair cut this morning. My sister and my Mum and I were out picking up a few last gifts for my Dad and I felt the sudden urge to have my really long hair finally chopped off. I only just got it cut this spring; it grows extremely fast! Anyway, it is now layered a little above shoulder length, with a bit more body than I'd like. I'll figure it out in time for the party tomorrow. Hopefully.
This year, we're only having a few people over; most of my cousins are too far away to make it. Still, it will be nice to have a small party. Yesterday, I made a ton of crackers that have peanut butter spread between them and are dipped in white chocolate. It was the easiest of the treats to make for the party.
Okay...I really need to change my blog background. It's been too long.
Merry Christmas Eve, Eve, Eve!
Merry Christmas EVE EVE to you, too! Love when you post! Thanks for sharing....Love you!
