Sheer joy...pure happiness...God loves me! He called me! He chose me! I don't know what came over me today, but I am so happy. I realized just now that I haven't been thanking Him or praising Him as much I want to...I want to do it more, and not just in my head. I want to proclaim His name out loud. I want to bring glory to my heavenly Father's name! I want to shine for Him! So why am I holding back? As a true child of God and follower of Christ Jesus, the One who died for me, I need to shine my light.

Then Jesus asked them, “Would anyone light a lamp and then put it under a basket or under a bed? Of course not! A lamp is placed on a stand, where its light will shine." Mark 4:21

"No one lights a lamp and then hides it or puts it under a basket. Instead, a lamp is placed on a stand, where its light can be seen by all who enter the house." Luke 11:33

Shine your light so all can see it.

I always seem to ramble when I post something like this. Usually it's because I'm too excited to get my thoughts out straight so that they're understandable to my readers.

Keep on praising His name! Praise the One who died for you and me. Bring glory to God; don't hold back!
