Everyone knows John 3:16

“For God loved the world so much
that he gave his one and only Son,
so that everyone who believes in him
will not perish but have eternal life."

Jesus came to earth and gave us a wonderful gift. Some received the message with joy, though they did not, could not leave their comfortable lives behind and follow.
Others tried to repay God for His gift.
Yes, we do owe God our very lives and much, much more, but can you not imagine how horrible God must feel to see his children trying to pay Him back day after day? There is no possible way that we can ever repay God for what Jesus did. God gave us the gift. He payed the price He didn't owe because we had a debt we couldn't pay!
Anyone with ears to hear should listen.
